HERAA MUTUAL AID RELIEF FUND
COVID-19 Origins: In Spring 2020, HERAA launched a COVID-19 relief fund campaign to reach our goal of providing support for HER members who have been impacted by COVID-19. Our original goal was to give each member $300 to cover moving costs and loss of income and we're grateful to say we exceeded that goal raising $8450 - due to all your generous donations! Read the latest COVID-19 update here.
HERAA Mutual Aid Relief Fund: As COVID-19 continues and needs are still prominent, HERAA began discussions about developing a long-term mutual aid relief fund for both students and alumni. Students and alumni would be able to request small funds for an immediate need out of a pot of funds supported and sustained by the entire H.E.R. House community. HERAA is continuing to fine-tune the logistics in hopes of having something in place by Summer 2021. However, our first goal is to raise enough money to build a solid foundation for the HERAA Mutual Aid Relief Fund. Since this would be an ongoing fund, donations will continue to be accepted even after this goal is reached.
How to Donate: If you're interested in donating directly to this relief fund, please check "Yes" next to the question "Would you like your donation to go to the HERAA Mutual Aid Fund?"
Friends and family of residents and alumnae are also welcome to support HERAA and the Harriet E. Richards Cooperative House!
If you need to adjust your recurring donation amount, date of transaction, or frequency, please email email@example.com with the changes you would like to make.
